Parallel worlds have always come up in theory. It may be as simple as how every choice that people make leaves choices that they could have made thus emphasizing the question "Well, what if they had made the latter choice instead?" Or even more worldly questions such as "What if Earth never had an ice age?" Would humans have come into existence? Would dinosaurs still rule the Earth?

Woven Reveries Dressing Room (DR²M) is a roleplaying dressing room that takes these questions and constructs their content into a piece of fantastical liberty to explore and escape to without the restraints of a long, obligatory list of rules. The idea is simple. In one little corner of the world, individuals from all over have been contained in a pocket dimension of sorts. They don't know where they are, how they came to be there, or who put them there. They have been given a large house with many doors to provide different opportunities, some being living areas while others opening up to other worlds entirely. But there is no trace of the prior owner and no hint of their own home worlds. It's up to them to figure it out (should they care enough to) or spend the rest of their days with the other individuals who have been placed there*. Their only hint as a note left on the dining room table.

So, what will you do, newly arrived Threads?

*Roleplays don't have to relate to every string of journals. In fact, they may simply be one-shots if so chosen. The point is to explore what you wish to explore as a roleplayer and have fun doing it.

General Regulations
1 - Anything Web 18 should be under a journal cut [lj-cut text="Web 18+ material"] Your journal entry here [/lj-cut] (Use ">" instead of "[ ]").
2 - Make an account(s) for your character(s). Use your personal LJ account only if you need to post an OOC message of sorts.
3 - The OOC community can be found here. All game information and miscellaneous nonsense can be found there.
4 - Tag your journal entries with the name of your character. This will give everyone an index to go by.
5 - At this point, original characters are only being accepted.
6 - Check your drama at the door.

How to Join
1 - Create an account for your original character.
2 - Hit "Join this community" up at the top on your navigation bar.
3 - Wait for a maintainer to approve your account (This prevents any sort of spam and non-sense not related to the roleplay).
4 - Once your account is approved, you may start roleplaying immediately.
